Code-Compliant Access & Fall Protection
Stairs, Railings & Safety Access in the Treasure Valley
Stairs, guardrails, pallet gates and fall protection built to IBC and OSHA standards — the access and safety components that make a mezzanine work.
Safe, compliant access
A platform is only as good as the way you get on and off it — and the guarding that keeps people safe. We design and install the stairs, rails and gates that bring a mezzanine up to code and keep your team protected.
Access & safety components
- IBC egress stairs — code stairs for occupied mezzanines.
- Ships ladders & switchback stairs — space-saving access options.
- Guardrails & handrails — perimeter fall protection to spec.
- Pallet & safety gates — self-closing and pivot gates for loading edges.
Built to IBC & OSHA
Whether your platform falls under building code (IBC) or workplace safety (OSHA), we build stairs, rails and gates to the right standard — including toe/kick plates, proper rail heights and load signage.

Common Questions
Stairs, Railings & Safety Access FAQs
Can you add stairs or railing to an existing mezzanine?
Yes — we retrofit code-compliant stairs, guardrails and gates onto existing platforms.
What's the difference between IBC and OSHA requirements?
IBC governs occupied building spaces (like office mezzanines); OSHA governs workplace access and fall protection. We build to whichever applies to your platform.
Do I need a safety gate at the loading edge?
If pallets or materials are lifted onto the platform, a self-closing pallet gate is strongly recommended and often required for fall protection.
Can you match existing finishes?
Yes — we can powder-coat or finish stairs and rails to match your facility.
